car start up cold but when turn off wont start?
have 95 mercury grand marquis 20090 miles had to pull heads off and put them back on anyways when i first started it the windshield whippers turn on by themselves and stop fired up it ran it for 4 mins turn it off and now wont start waited few hours and it starter up let it idle ran and same thing turn off and doesant wanna start. any clues?
check voltage 12 v while of when it ran 14.1 v
fuel pressure was 80 when turn on then turn off droped few degrees new pump less than 4 months new battey less than a year old had it checked at walmart was fine. checked for spark while cranking over has spark has new fuel pressure regulator

Update: Since reading your update the Ignition Switch is more likely than ever. They are not expensive or hard to replace. Look it up, there are plenty of videos to show you.

Spray starting fluid on the intake when it does not start. Car does not start, check for spark while cranking Car starts and dies, check fuel pressure.while cranking. Good luck.
