If i disconnect the battry cable on a 2010 Santa Fe Limited 3.5L will i have to reset anything after i connected it back?

i need to replace the Thermostat housing and i believe i have to remove the battery.

    You don't need to disconnect the battery to remove the thermostat housing. 

    If you're so careless with hand tool manipulation that you might set one on the battery, then cover the battery temporarily with some nonconductive covering. 

    Remove the battery?  Your question is getting worse!

    Disconnecting the battery resets just about everything you CAN reset.

    You shouldn't have to get anywhere near the battery, or battery cables, to replace the thermostat.

    You may lose the idle speed setting. The idle speed will automatically relearn after driving in stop and go conditions with the AC and other loads turned off. If the battery is not in your way and you don't have to remove the alternator leave the battery hooked up.

    Read the owner's manual BEFORE disconnecting the battery.  Your radio might have a security code and if you do not know the security code, you might not be able to use the radio again.
