I had to delete the app and re download it. But it deleted the secret convo I had. Is there anyway to retrieve it?

If you also use the browser version of Facebook, it may be in Messenger there. Do check.

Your question belongs in Computers & Internet>Internet>Facebook as it's currently in Yahoo Products>Yahoo Messenger>Other-Yahoo Messenger and not applicable to this subcategory (and thus decreases your chances of getting many useful answers).
