So if a software engineer and a software developer is kinda like the difference between a chef and a cook, and...?

A software developer writes code for applications, and a software engineer would have more responsibilities around the design of the code...what's a code?

What's a code?

Um thats not what a software engineer is, a software engineer and developer have to do.with making apps etc on like Kindles and iPods etc

    A dictionary is a book that defines words you don't understand.

    If you have to ask "what's a code?" then you should probably not waste your time worrying about minor differences in job title between software engineers and software developers.

    You should focus more on whether you want to be a cart retrieval engineer or a customer greeting engineer.
