What material completely blocks computer light (LCD screens)?

I am doing an experiment that requires a material that completely blocks/reflects a computer screen. Initially, I believed aluminum foil would do the trick, but the light still penetrates through several layers of it. The best thing I found so far is a 300-page book, and I would like to find something a bit slimmer. I will be extremely grateful if somebody solves this for me because I have been unsuccessful thus far. Thank you.

Light can penetrate anything but so little light does that what penetrates isn't relevant.  Aluminium foil is an excellent screen for light UNLESS it has holes in it.  A very thin film of silver or gold can pass some measurable light but only if it is a thousand times thinner than your aluminium foil.

An LCD screen does not emit light, It reflects it.

Why do you think light is getting through to the screen?

The picture on the screen will still change without light.
