If so many people "hate Valentine's Day" now, how come nearly every Valentine's Day item is out of stock online?

I hear so many men complain how much of a chore Valentine's Day is, and how many sad women cry when they didn't receive anything. These guys simply seem to be a very loud minority because apparently men still buy things for their partners on Valentine's Day.

Because while many people say that they hate the holiday...many more people enjoy it.
