Is it legal to sell alcoholic drinks as a street vendor in California?

I see a lot of street vendors selling micheladas with shrimp and I am starting to get curious if its legal to sell to the community.

    Sure is in Japan ......... even in vending machines ......... but ..... no kids drinking either

    If they have a permit from the city's health department,  probably.

    Almost certainly not. Food is not alcoholic drinks.

    Micheladas + Shrimp can have beer in it, but not all recipes do.

    I'd guess that most of the street vendors are using Clamato sauce or something similar, without alcohol and not made from scratch.
