If ghosts were real what sort of scientific evidence would you expect to see which supports the idea of their existence?

Of course ghosts are real! But science is soooooo far behind. Science can't even explain why skeptics suck so much. I think it's just some guy in Chicago with a bunch of sock accounts making skeptics look like bozos.😡🧬

I would expect to read numerous witness accounts from all past times and present, hear recordings and see film and video evidence, read police reports, and other notable documents detailing sightings and giving testimony.

All of these exist in number. 

Bit of a silly question there Sol? Elephants are real so that is why nobody in their right mind would ask for evidence, apart from the odd retard that is. Same with ghosts, if they are real, then who would ask for evidence in the first place? Big Ben is real yet less than 1% of the world has seen it, however, just like the Elephants and ghosts, there is no need for evidence if they are already confirmed to be real as you just asked, is there??? Come on Gary kid, try to keep up. You don't need supporting evidence if something is confirmed real. You need to remember, you are the minority, Gary. If the rest of us believe in ghosts, you would be better off to realise that nobody cares what you say. After all, it is without investigation and simply the wind blowing your tongue around. "Ghosts" likely will be discovered to be LIVING PEOPLE that we are seeing via a NATURAL "Wormhole"-Like phenomenon that connects two different TIMES(ours and another) that crops up due to Spacetime glitches every now and then.  Most of the time we do not notice these glitches (Also known as Einstein-Rosen Bridges)  as the times they connect are hap-hazard and the locations look the same, but if a PERSON in the other time is there, too they we would take note and see him, clothing and all, before the anomaly , which only lasts a few seconds anyway, fizzles out.  This has been happening for millennia---And the ancients attributed to people seen on the other end of it as "Spirits of the dead"----As they did not know about the possibilities of MODERN Physics--- or ANY PHYSICS , for that matter.

We still attribute such stuff like this to "Ghosts" when we see it--because we do not know any better.----Einstein and Rosen predicted that these "Bridges" between different times and locations should  happen. But did not make the connection to "Ghosts"  BUT it is EXACTALY what we would see if another person were standing on the other end of one that manifested near us.---Clothing and all-- as this is a real person only in another time or place.  The bridge is like a "window" between times.  

 This theory is MUCH better than the "Spirit theory, because 1) two of the greatest Scientists predicted it mathematically 2) would explain clothing and other "props" around the "ghost" and 3) we do not have to INVENT an "entity" (Ghost) that defies known physics for it to work.

The ghost could appear for all people there to see, and remain there when other scientists and researchers and media reporters come. 

Or, the ghost could give us some previously unknown information that could be checked. For example, the ghost could say that when he was living, he buried a box containing 3 marbles and 2 paper clips under left side of his porch. Then we look there, find the box, and it contains what the ghost said.

Why hasn't any so called ghost ever done something like this?

Since God created science as evidenced by intelligent design of the universe, and God cannot be entirely explained, our souls are something that cannot be entirely explained either, at least not in this life.

Science studies what is on earth, in a tangible sense. Our souls are not something that can be studied under a microscope, nor could ghosts/spirits.

Again, if we knew exactly what the afterlife was like, and there was no mystery, the purpose of our lives here would change drastically. 

Since it would be impossible to get a ghost to a lab, the lab would need to be brought to the ghost. How would that be done? With a little work and some modern technology, it wouldn't be that difficult. There are many reports of ghosts that appear often in the same place. According to reports residual ghosts are spotted at Gettysburg practically daily. With modern equipment, the battlefield could be the laboratory. Sure it would be time-consuming and costly, but the payoff would make it well worthwhile.

I have no idea what sort of scientific evidence to expect.  Nobody does.

In order to even confirm a ghost's actual existence, someone would need to bring a real live ghost into a controlled environment where it could be studied.  I don't know how that could be done, in fact I don't even know how to try.  

I suppose a ghost-trap with a positronic collider and laser containment grid would work, but nobody knows how to build those.  Someone will probably invent lightsabers (which would be much cooler and more useful) long before they'd build any of that stuff.

I had a great conversation once with the ghost of Mick Mars, but that doesn't count because Mars isn't dead yet.  His ghost just does that anyway.

There is no scientific evidence because science is a part of this natural, physical world.  However, spirits are part of the SPIRITUAL realm - a different dimension entirely.

God is a Spirit (John 4:24) and that's why God is IMMORTAL and INVISIBLE.  He dwells in unapproachable light whom no man has seen nor can see. (1 Timothy 6:16)
