My boyfriend got me the newest iphone for valentines day and my best friend thought it was funny? ?
Is this a strange gift or something? I have always been single (well last year i was not, but it wasnt anything serious) on valentines day so this is the first time i have been given a gift. I told my best friend of 13 years what my boyfriend got me and she just kept sending laughing emojis and saying "wtf"

She's your best friend of 13 years and she laughs in your face?? That would literally be the last time I speak to her. I'd say what he got you was a very unique and personal gift. Not to mention the amount of money he must have spent to get that!
Sure, he may not be the roses and chocolates kind of guy, but I'd be just as happy if someone went out of their way to buy me a freakin iphone for valentine's day!
Does she even have a boyfriend? If she does, did he get her anything? If the answer is no to any one of those questions, chances are it's pure jealousy.
Even if she does have a boyfriend who got her something, chances are she still could be very jealous if he spent that much money on you. Forget her. She ain't no friend.
