Are Accord and Civic wheels interchangeable ?
I just got a Honda Accord in place of my Civic. Civic had too many unpredictable and expensive issues. The tires on my Civic are pretty new, only about 10k miles on them, and the Accord tires are wearing thin. My Civic is not running right now and I need to switch tires (already checked the tire sizes) But since I can’t take the Civic in to the shop I was wondering if I could just switch the wheels out? I’ve been told wheels and tires can vary by year, so the Accord is a 2001 and the Civic is a 2005. Thanks in advance!

I used to drive VW, so was used to changing any year with any year for they all were the same.
. Then I bought a Honda. Wheel bolt patterns change every year. so no 2 were the same. For many years the pattern does not repeat.
. Check the junk yard 9 years back and maybe that is the same pattern. Honda won't tell you as they are selling this years car. Not 14" or 13" rims. You need calipers and a measuring tape and measure stud spacing and size of center hole. Even that changes.
. Why Honda did such anal things like that is crazy.

If the hub pattern is the same you still need to check the clearance of the calipers. They might hit the inside of the rims. Just hand tighten the rims at first and that way you won't bend anything if the calipers do hit the rims.
