"And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honored, all the members rejoice with it" (I Corinthians 12:26).

"But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, [even] Christ" (Ephesians 4:15)

"My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth" (I John 3:18) by the Word of God (I Peter 1:23).

I learned along time ago in my career in oncology than #1) I'm not God, #2) there's pain and suffering that exists even to death,2) I can be very proactive in eliminating  the pain & suffering and people still have pain and die, and loved ones are hurt by suffering. I worked at a University so even children died. No doubt there are Christians under persecution, I'm fully aware of it. I have gone to evangelical churches for 30 years, I picked up a hitchhiker 20 years ago, with the intent on witnessing to this person, and he stabbed me in the chest while I was in my car, rebuked him in the name of Jesus Christ, was fortunate to come out of that alive.

CONCLUSION: Yes we should help where we can including prayer, and I am not Jesus Christ and cannot solve the world's problem............quite humbling actually, but ..........it is what it is.

They seem to feel more connected to their gods when they present themselves as such. I simply leaven them to their phantasies.

Since I’m not there physically with them, I keep them in prayer constantly.

Hebrews 13:3 Keep in mind those in prison, as though you were in prison with them, and those being mistreated, since you yourselves also are in the body.

I pray for them to endure and remain faithful.
