I can’t get into my iPhone because of the activation lock?
So my stepdad’s old friend gave him a used iPhone 6 as a birthday gift, my stepdad never used it so he gave it to me but I need help getting passed the activation lock because his friend has not removed his account. The problem is that they are no longer friends and he doesn’t know what the iCloud id and password is and since they aren’t friends anymore they have no way of contacting each-other. Any help would be great

The only way is to use the proper account login and password, or the previous owner to release it from their account via the apple web site.
It's an anti-theft system and there is no way around it, no matter what you do.
The lock data is stored on Apple's server and nothing done to the phone changes that.
