We call it the bathroom in our house ( because the bath is in there too) but I don’t know why Americans call public toilets , the bathroom, when no bath is involved.

In addition to the ones already listed:  Can, shitter, terlet, dumper, pisser, "trump mouth", "your mom", crock pot, basin, outhouse, casserole dish, the hopper, the blender, cespool, salad shooter, house of congress (with taking a dump being an "act of congress"), drunk's best friend, water closet, twister, cyclone, vortex, Rudy, and chili bowl.

"The loo," "porcelain throne," "crapper" to name a few...

Bathroom

powder room.

restroom.

shower.

toilet.

washroom.

water closet.

There are many names. My favorite is the Oval Office. 

Back in the 80's we called it the Cosby's swimming pool. But of course, that won't fly now.
