is 94 lbs too thin for a 37 yo woman?
I am 37 yrs old and recently weighed myself and now i only weigh 94 lbs. i am 5'2 so not that tlal but that still seems awfully thin to me. i have a 12 yo daughter and she probably weighs more than me by now. i was 101 for awhile but working a lot and stress made me lose weight. there's nothing clinically wrong w me. my thyroid etc are all normal. im just skinny. i hate it. i also find it scary i can lose weight so quickly. be honest is this really abnormal?

If you used to weigh more but lost weight due to stress, then yes, it's probably too thin since it's not your natural set weight. You may want to talk to your doctor about your concerns and managing stress levels.
Edit: Ignore the person saying your daughter is overweight. That's nonsense.

It is underweight. I'd worry less about the exact number on the scale and more about your overall health and fitness. Some people are just slim/petite. Some people don't have much of an appetite and tend to under eat. I'd encourage you to try to eat more. If you find you can't increase your portions sizes, select calorie-dense foods like macadamia nuts or avocado that have good fats and other nutrients.
You might also try doing some strength training. As we age, we tend to lose muscle and bone density. Don't some form of Strength training not only will add pounds but help you stay strong as you age.
Feel free to see an endocrinologist if you fell you may have some metabolic issue.

Ok ok- if you have a 12 year old daughter who probably weighs more than 94lbs, that's not good. For a 12 year old girl 94lbs is probably considered overweight- so you should be more concerned about her. Clearly you need to sort out your parenting issues because I believe letting your child get too overweight is child abuse!
94lbs for a grown woman is slightly underweight, but not to a critical degree. So like I said, stop worrying about your own weight and encourage your daughter to lose weight. Now, you idiot!! Child obesity is really bad.
Now please don't worry about your own weight until your daughter's weight is back to normal.

BMICalculator.net says you're underweight (in between yellow and red). When I wanted to gain weight I added quick oats and peanutbutter in my daily intake.
