Butternut squash soup: yay or nay?

Yay. I like butternut squash soup.

That would be a NO. 

No thank you. I don't eat anything that looks like baby barf.

Nay.

It is very hit or miss. 

I tend to avoid unless making my own.

For me, 'nay' but  my family likes it, so I've  made it with roasted butternut & roasted bell pepper [red or orange], blended down with a little stock and cream. Then serve it with a dollop of sour cream and a grating of nutmeg, plus a chunk of crusty bread.   

No way......................

We tested once in school, I have taste buds that find certain kinds of things repulsive, and squash is one of them.   Bitter and disgusting to me
