How do I be a singer without the fame.?

I really wanna be a singer and make a living off of it but I don’t wanna be famous like Beyoncé or lady Gaga because I here a lot about people like them selling there souls.

Update:

N I know I won’t be as big as Beyoncé I was just using an example anyone would know of

Update 2:

N got for the folks talking about they sing in the shower , comparing that to what I do is not the same. I got n album n ep out n music video n decent fan base with a unique sound.

You kinda cant, really. The way singers make money is people pay to listen to them, theres no ither way to really monetize that particular talent. I mean, there are plenty of singers who arent that successful, but still make a living off it. I dont think realistically you have to worry about becoming the next Beyonce. So you could probably have a go at a singing career without being catapaulted to superstardom

You really shouldn't use Beyonce as an example, she's not much of a singer. Gaga can sing. Just sing on your phone and put it on youtube. You won't be famous, but you will have fun doing it..

It's occasionally true that there's no point into that.

fame comes much later to only a select few and should never be your first focus. first, you should have passion for signing whether fame comes or not. if you do have passion, your question is a moot point and you will sing regardless. search Wikipedia how famous singers started their life at the bottom without fame and worked their way up and follow their footsteps. location matters for the entertainment industry. you should live close to other people who work in the entertainment industry to get noticed and picked up and go to their events and associate their circles.  usually, most signers have a born talent it's not like a skill you can learn by going to school. that's why it's better to have talents than skills. skills can be learned and you are replaceable with another. talents are gifted at birth and only you can do it. let's take a famous singer like Michael Jackson. can someone else sing his songs after years of practice? yes but not of the same caliber. he owns his songs. The same is true for sports

The word is "hear", not "here". If you sing, you're already a singer. You probably mean professional singer.  You don't have to do what you hear others do. Your chances of becoming famous is slim. It's possible to become an amautuer and maybe get paid a small fee. Singing in the shower doesn't qualify you to become a professional singer. What makes you think you have what it takes to become a pro?

Don't worry about it, you won't be famous.  You probably won't even be able to go professional.

There isn't a big employment market for vocalists, because the supply vastly exceeds the demand.  Most singers don't get paid anything, they just do it for fun because they can.  Fewer than 1% of singers in the world ever get paid for singing.

Of the 1% that get paid to sing, fewer than 1% of them ever get a recording contract.  It never happens by accident, no matter what the 'biography' stories tell you.

I wouldn't worry about it. It is like asking how to buy lottery tickets without winning. Most singers aren't famous.

    ___

An album and an EP? Me too. I got a couple songs played on local radio, got a couple write ups from local indie music press, gigged around the area for a couple years... Guess how famous I am? Even the people that liked my band back then probably don't remember our band name, let alone my name. And don't get me wrong, I'm not jaded and I never wanted anything more than to play music and have fun, I'm just realistic.

    Step one - sing

Step two - be paid for it

    Step three - repeat

Congratulations, you are now a professional singer. Less than 1% of professional singers are famous.
