Strong winds on Mars at times?  How will this affect the rover and copter that are on Mars?  Where would the copter take cover then?

There *are* dust storms on Mars;  the winds - while considered 'strong' on Mars, really don't have much power, because the atmosphere is less than 1/100th as dense as Earth's.  The number of molecules hitting you in a 100 mph wind on Mars equates to about a 1 mph wind on Earth - so, it doesn't have much power.

The problem with a dust storm is that it dims the light on the surface... while Percy is powered by a Plutonium RTG, the copter is recharged by solar panels - until light is fully restored, it may have power problems during such a storm.

The atmospheric pressure is much lower on Mars so probably not.
