How many tracks can a blank cd hold?
I want to burn some cds. I have books on cd on my flash drive. How do i burn them on a blank cd? I want each book have it's own cd. Or do i have to spread it out on many cds? It will be my own use. I love to listen to them while knitting but i don't want to start my computer just for that.

CD's come in different sizes. There are two other limitations, what the playing device will hold and what the write device can write.
For audio a cd is said to have an average capacity of 700 MB's of capacity. Which can be used as a clue. The file size should be able to be seen in the directory. This is about 80 minutes of audio.
For what it is worth, there might be an adapter cable that will let you use your cell phone as the play back device. If they are in the right format an mp3 or mp4 player can be purchased that would allow the use of the flash drive files for play back. That might prove cheaper then transferring the files to CD. It depends on what format you want to burn them on. If you're trying to listen to them on a traditional CD player, you only get 74-80 minutes of time each disc. If you're trying to save it as a data disc, you can fit several folders of MP3s onto one blank CD.

A blank CD can also hold as much as 700 megabytes of data, which is usually more than enough for 100 songs.

A blank CD can typically hold about 74 to 80 minutes of music, which is generally not enough to hold 100 songs. But, a blank CD can also hold as much as 700 megabytes of data, which is usually more than enough for 100 songs.

let's assume that your book (you imply a audiobook) is the average of 10 hours. assuming you download in audible-ish quality (which is about 28-30mb per hour), on average a audiobook is 280-300mb per book. a cd usually stores 700mb. you should be able to get 2 books whole and a third of a different book (if at 300mb) or 2 and a half if each book is 280mb. if you compress the audio you should get more storage.

An ordinary "red book" audio CD,
whether manufactured or "burned",
can have up to 99 tracks.
The playing time is limited to the capacity of the disc,
which is either 74 or 80 minutes.
MP3 CDs can have hundreds of tracks and contain about 300 hours of recordings,
depending on the bit rate, but many players can't read them.
I think it is better to just use the flash drives.

I don't know how you got audio books on flash drive. Generally, it can store upto 700 MB of data. Check file size, if it exceeds that, you need to split the file. Make sure the file format supported by the audio device you are planning to play them on.
