When do people release lanterns? Lantern Festival 2021?
Do people in the UK release lanterns to celebrate the lantern festival? If so, what time of day? Is there a specific time when lanterns are released or is it just throughout the evening and night?
Just to clarify, I realise most people in the UK do not celebrate the Lantern Festival. I meant to ask whether people who do celebrate it in the UK often release lanterns (is it allowed in all councils? etc. )
Also, in general, at what time of day are lanterns released in China and places the festivals is celebrated?

People with some connection to China might, but the lantern festival is not celebrated or even known about by most people in the UK.
