If you used Kohl's Cash to purchase an item - the refund for returning the item will be refunded as Kohl's Cash and you have 30 days to spend it.

So - if you bought a $50 item and paid $10 in Kohl's Cash and $40 in real money, then you would get  $10 Kohl's Cash and $40 in real money for a refund.  

Some.  Suppose you bought items worth $50 and used $10 Kohl's cash so you paid $40.  You decide to return one of the items that was tagged $25.00.  You would receive $20 back.  You only get back in cash the actual amount you paid in cash.
