Am I a fool for feeling this way (Part 1)?
I just joined this site. Am I the only one angry that I am not getting answers to my question, or not fast enough? So far I only have one answer to my first question. Does this happen to anyone else? Should I hol
d on?
What insulting, provoking, inflaming and divisive rants are you refering to?
My first question was about music, and basically about songs people love that they can't get out of their heads.

Roy, with all due respect, if you really just joined this site......then you must know and realize that this site is at the tail end of it's existence, and basically on life support. You've missed the HEYDAYS by at least a decade or more.
Think of it as a wedding and fancy reception, and you've only just shown up, as they are sweeping up.
You've pretty much missed the entire show.
The only thing left here now are troll wars that date back over a decade....and people who simply refuse to give up the ship , no matter how far the bow is under water.
Picture that scene in Titanic....where the stern is sticking straight up in the air, and people are *still* clinging to the railings........prepared to ride the ship all the way down to it's final end.
That's where this site is now.......

In which section did you post your question? But sometimes you might not receive an answer for 2 ~ 4 days.

This site has a lot of trolls now and not people who really want to ask and answer questions. I would try asking here as well as other sites as well

Some reasons questions don't get any/many answers are:
*The site has far fewer users than it did years ago
*They are posted at low YA user times of day or days of week (esp holidays)
*They are posted in low activity categories
*They are poorly worded or not understandable/gibberish
*They are complex and not many would know the answer
*They don't interest the people who saw them
*They are trolling, spamming, or aren't questions (but statements or requests)
*They are posted by a user wanting someone else to do their homework
*They are posted in the wrong category or not the best category to get good answers
*Some users refuse to reply to a question posted by a user using the Anonymous feature
*Your question is only visible to you due to it being hung in the spam filter (log out of your account OR try viewing your question in another browser in which you aren't logged in to your YA account. If you can see the question, then it's fine. If you can't, then go into it and move it to another category, then back where it belongs. Check it again with a non-logged in account. Once you can see it, you can feel sure others can see it too).

yes. Legit questions have a correct answer, and once that is posted there is no point in other people adding theirs. They can simply thumb up the correct answer so whoever gave it gets a point more when you pick "best answer"
Questions about the answerer are considered chatviolations and should be reported rather than answered

Please ignore that idiot who called you by my name. He thinks I am behind nearly every account on this site, he has been saying this for years now. Just take a look through his posting history and you will see what I mean.

timing is a lot. and if you as something stupid you will get plenty of answers...vut a complex question only appeals to a small number of people so not too many will answer.

Yes you are Mr Right. Especially since you keep posting the same retarded crap on multiple accounts just to have it reported for the usual...
Constant abuse of question format on multiple accounts.
Constantly Interacting with alt accounts.
Constantly spamming questions that have nothing to do with the category you post them in.
And as usual you will once again prove what a moron you are with your response.

Yes, you definitely ARE a fool. You mistakenly think that Yahoo and Verizon employees?answer the questions on YA. They DO NOT. Answering questions on YA is NOT THEIR JOB. That is Not why Verizon pays their pages or salaries. The people who answer questions on YA are OTHER YA Users like you. We are NOT PAID to answer your questions. If you exploit the TIME and patience of the YA users who take the TIME to answer tour insulting, provoking. Inflaming and divisive RANTS, you will be treated the SAME way you treat US.
Your question is an intentionally sarcastic provok ing rant. You are daring me to report your rant so you can claim that you are the abuse victim and I am the abuser. Your rant is rude.
BE VERY careful. I try to give supposedly new people, which I doubt you really are new to YA, the benefit of my doubt before reporting their question.
