My father is depressed...?

Question

I am 30...my dad lately has feelings of depression because he wants to travel places and his retired and bored...I also think my failure to satisfy their wants like me being a regular successful job holder or a businessman, makes him even more depressed... His and mom's happiness always depends on my success or my marriage choice...etc...how to make ourselves a win win solution out of this ?

Yea narcissists hurt and they need validation but he doesnt care about me he just cares about validation and himself.

Its all im hurt im better than u I need u, im weak, validate me, get big, but when it comes to your feelings its I DONT CARE ABOUT YOU

He wrecked me as a normal person because he wanted me to be extra and i cant not be that extra guy its who i am now because of him, so i miss out on a more realistic, which he not ironically wants me to get, but its too late for that
