Absolutely.  It all depends what your skill set is.  For example (if you write well), you can write for several different outlets or try to sell your written materials to any number of e-zines.  You could learn technical skills and then offer tech based services to others.  If however, you are looking to make quick cash without having any skills...good luck there.  In this economy there aren't too many legal opportunities available.  IMO, Sports betting can be lucrative but its risky if you don't have starting $$.
