Why do you call Democrats "liberals?"?

everyone uses 'liberals' to mean their own thing.  including two people who seem to be agreeing with each other.  this has been true since i joined ya many yrs ago.  notice how you said republican without knoing they re republican.

It's simple really it's because virtually ALL LIEberals are demoCROOKS and virtually ALL demoCROOKS are LIEberals so the terms are almost ALWAYS interchangeable AND just like most LIEberal left socialist demoCROOKs interchange republican and conservative!

It's kind of how it's been since the 70s. Liberals today are mentally ill radical leftists.

To conservative morons, everything to their left is a communist, and they associated communism with being 'liberal'.

The funny thing is that when they turn to their right, they see absolutely nothing, since they are sitting on the shoulder of fascists.

To many, the terms leftist, communist, fascist, liberal and Democrat are interchangeable.   Now ask why.....

Because the Democrats changed into radical Leftist Marxists, and the conservatives are wrestling with that change slowly. Painfully so. They never got the idea that Liberalism isn't like that in the classic sense. So they still use the term liberal to describe them. Prager U is right about the change.
