My State ID Expires On My Birthday. I Am Going To Las Vegas. I Will Be 25 Years Old. I Paid For a NEW ID But How Can I Get In A Club/Bar? ?
Can I use the receipt to get in? I am heading to Vegas on March 12th and my birthday is March 10th. I ordered my new state-ID today ( Before anyone says you should have done that before it slipped my mind that my ID expires this year ) will they let it pass since my birthday was just a few days ago? All I have is a state-ID. No license or passport.

your ID EXPIRED. get that thru your head. EXPIRED. you won't be able to get in anywhere with an EXPIRED ID because it's ILLEGAL. INVALID.
"will they let it pass since it's my birthday?" NO....
and where/when are you "clubbing"? no club is open here.
people saying "they don't look at expiration date"... UH YES THE SURE AS FCK DO. bouncers are trained to look at every part of an ID to spot a fake... morons.

Do you mean "nightclubs"? There are no nightclubs open in Vegas.
They have not been permitted to re-open at all since March 10, 2020.
As of Feb 11, 2021 - indoor dining and bars are now allowed at 35% capacity on the strip. Many restaurants have chosen to remain closed.
There is no club or "bar scene" in Vegas. If that is what you are looking to do on your birthday, you should postpone your trip = try Florida or Texas.

If you are flying you may have a problem with no valid ID.
You will need a valid ID to check into a hotel.
I doubt Vegas is going to accept an expired ID.
In my state you can get a state ID card at the DMV. See if you can get new card there now, before you leave.
According to sites I saw online (lasvegasnightclubs.com)
Clubs are open, but no dancing and no standing at the bar. You must reserve a table with less than six people. Some places are charge $500 for a table

First, the clubs aren't operating as clubs right now. The ones that are open are open as lounges, and you need reservations.
However, they are super strict about ID in Vegas. An expired ID will not be accepted, no matter how close it is, if they check expiration. And while many places do not check the expiration date, they often do in Vegas. Your receipt for a new ID is not likely to help matters either.
It may be a little different now since they aren't dealing with lines of people trying to get in, but I'd be hesitant to chance it.

What state is that? In most states, the license expires the end of the month of your birthday. You can use the state ID- they can look at the birthdate and do the math.

They MAY let you in on your old one by simply checking your birthdate and not the exp date. I wouldn’t point it out to them. ???

most people dont look at the expiration date, you should be fine with the one you have. If they want to scan it thats a different story
