Do you think I am too to start cheerleading and go back to gymnastics again ?

I am 22 years old, I use to do gymnastics from the age of 14 to 16, reasons why I quit at 16 because I was picked by younger people so thats, why I quit and also some of the girls, were very cold and feel uncomfortable around me because I am different (I've got ASD). I was getting bit too old to join with younger people.

I wish I should go to the adult classes (adult gymnastics class is over 16 and the one I went to is for under 18s).

I did cheerleading twice when I was 12 years old (year 8) only for 2 sessions and then it stopped completely. From year 8 to year 10 before I moved to a special needs school I use to do trampolining and rounders.

From the age of 15 I wanted to take cheerleading classes outside of school but the nearest popular cheerleading clubs based in the gym, hire and in the sports centre is about 20-minute drive from where I live and another one is about  40 minutes drive but getting on the train is about 30 minutes and the travel cost £13.00 for return.

I am now regretting that I wish I should done cheerleading because of part of the experience and enjoyment.

My dad wanted me to join clubs for people with autism and learning disabilities from young kids to 25 year olds (truth yes I do, I have got ASD ) and I didnt want to do that, I wanted to do what I want to enjoy and take part of the enjoyment.

Some clubs out there for cheerleading have adult sessions but I am scared. I've got been told you are too old.

Should I go back or not.
