As a college student, did/do you find your readings demanding or bearable?

I found them bearable. I enjoyed college.

Both. Demanding at first, but once I started reading, it becomes bearable. I try not to take any classes I'm not interested in so that I'll find some interest in the given material. 

I'm also a very slow & cautious reader so any class that requires me to read over 1 chapter a week is too much. I try to read 5-7 chapters in 2 weeks but I always leave out a chapter or two. So usually, I just skip the readings (unless I absolutely have to) & manage by taking notes from lectures :P

I majored in History. I read until my eyes fell out. There were times I was seeing double by the time I went to bed.
