Why are republicans trying to stop relief bill for Americans from being passed? They gave tax breaks to billionaires but don't care about us?

(Note a "RICH" person pays more Taxes in 1 year than most American (>70%) pay in their LIFE TIME !!! So NOT Oppressing the Rich is a GOOD thing to do !

You should take another look at the bill, we the people actually get very little from it. Yet special cities/states and organizations get huge paydays. Of course there is the round about spin that ties them in some manner to helping, but not really. It's payback is all. Besides that, they do not need one republican vote to pass the thing, but there are still some democrat senators they are trying to pay off to pass it.

Because the Democrats won't give them one to approve that isn't full of non covid related pork like trains to Silicon Valley and Bridges to Canada (although that bridge would come in handy for the trucks hauling oil to our refineries now that the zero carbon pipeline and 11k jobs have been canceled, but a covid relief bill isn't the time or place for it)

Give them a clean, non partisan bill of Covid Relief and it will be approved.

Only 10 % of the bill goes to American citizens.

How can you support that?

They aren't trying to stop relief. They're trying to stop democrats from passing a pork-laden bill, most of which has nothing to do with COVID relief. Maybe you should have listened when the entire bill was read. Then you'd know what's in it.

If the Dems cared about you, the bill would not be full of pork.
