What are good old movies to watch?

I am looking for recommendations of good really old movies to watch. The older they are the better.

    I started watching this movie one day and 10 minutes in I was mesmerized and could not move from the screen.  It was so good. :)

    Lawrence of Arabia.

    War & Peace.

    12 Angry Men.

    Advise and Consent.

    Seven Days in May.

    And, in my view, the greatest film ever made: 2001, A Space Odyssey (1968).
