As I recall when you did this in your apartment complex you were arrested. Fayetteville must REALLY be an interesting place to live. Is this part of your bigger "When I am a Judge" manifesto?

in general, you can't do any of those unless the supposed perp is inside your dwelling or other structure

What in the world are you babbling about? What is the Under Civilian Arrest Doctrine or Individual responsibility Act? Who passed such laws and when? Even those places that allow for citizens arrest, civilians can only detain a suspect, they cannot charge them with anything, nor can they transport them anywhere. And of course giving them a Miranda warning has no legal standing what so ever.
