Independent contractor uber eats quick tax question.?
I want to buy all the gear i need. Like helmet, bike lock, delivery bag ect... I was gonna order it all off amazon should i buy it all at once and save the receipt ? Or by them each individually and save each of those receipts for expenses ?
I'm getting Electric bike not a car so that's why i need all the gear.

You can buy them together if the receipt lists each thing individually with its price. If the receipt will have only a total, then do them separately so that you have separate receipts. (You need documentation of how much each thing cost, not just the total.)

It does not matter how you purchase the gear or the bike.
Just like a car, you can only claim the expenses for business that are used for business. You need to track business and personal mileage just like a car.
You charge the percentage of costs used for business to the schedule C.
You don't get to deduct the full cost.
