Why should my supreme Court make such a dumb ruling that police are not public servants, but are only law enforcement, not there to protect?

That statement has ALWAYS been true. The Supreme Court only confirmed reality.

Since so many want to do away with the police force or minimize their funding COPs should not be obligated to respond to the homes, offices nor business of those who voted to defund them. This is how stupid they are, they are now calling for "Citizens" (whom they are trying to take guns from) should step up and do what the COPs were "TRAINED" to do because they voted to defund the COPs.

I don't know where you are, but if you want to know their thinking, read the ruling, which should be available to the public.
