Why doesn't she ever call? ?
I have a very emotional guy friend who is in a relationship with his bm and she barely texts let alone call him and they don't even live together. She does have a history of drug use and is on methadone so sometimes she tells him she is sick from not having her medication. He never used. He feels like she is using him because she will come out of the dark and ask him for money. I know I'm probably going to get some smart a$$ answers but I'd rather you keep them to yourself because I'd really only like some serious advice.

Maybe she is using him, but i don't see why it's her job to text him orcommunicate with him first, or why texting is so important at all. If he's stupid enough to give her money when she asks for it, that's HIS choice.
She can't use him for money.... he can say "NO".... if he freely gives her money when she asks and then regrets it, then he's made a stupid decision.

The effect of the drug could, in itself, be adequate explanation. He should not give her money as that is enabling her addiction. It seems cruel but is actually the best way
