game crashing will never stop, im a game dev and can say that safely! a game can crash for a million reasons, bad coding, file conflicts, corrupted update, dying hardware, corrupted software, hardware overheat, power issues to the hardware, a wifi hickup, many things can cause it so it wont ever go away

(update) - I took your question to mean how can we stop publishers from releasing buggy games. Looking at other answers, that might not be what you meant.
(original answer)
I'm a software developer, and I'm going to tell you that will never happen. There are too many ways and these programs are too complex for crashing to not be a risk.
What you can do to get companies to take them seriously is to stop being an early adopter of games. ESPECIALLY games from companies with a history of rushing games out prematurely. The pressure game publishers put on developers to hit release dates rather than release robust content is humongous. And so it has become standard practice in the industry for unfinished games with known bugs to be rolled out to the public with the vague promise that it will be fixed in hot patches after release.
And the publishers get away with it because the CUSTOMERS like yourself let them. Before buying a game, let it cook. Allow 3-6 months to go by. Read reviews about whether it's got alot of bugs or not. Remember what game publishers and studios produce bug ridden software and either avoid them entirely, or at least WAIT until the online talk suggests that the game isn't buggy anymore.
If enough people start doing that, it will get noticed by publishers and studios who will delay releases until the product is better polished. But don't expect perfect. Perfect will never happen. We're just looking for 'better'.

Depending on what game this is and what is causing the crash, there may be nothing you can do as a consumer of the game as it is something that has to be fixed by the developers.
