    Sad for them, yes indeed. They started that war, they were warned before the bomb drops and they refused to surrender. They could have avoided the entire thing had they surrendered, but they were the mighty empire of Japan, who had not lost a war in 600 years. The saddest thing is that we didn't develop the bomb years earlier to save the millions of lives that Japan destroyed.
