Chance of pregnancy?
What are the chances of getting pregnant from sex that occurred 2 days before ovulation?
My partner and I are TTC, but decided to try to skip this month so he used the pull out method on Tuesday (2 days ago). However, I don't think he completely pulled out in time. I am having a lot of discharge and a very positive ovulation test today.

I wish people wouldn't keep using the 'it only takes one sperm' argument. Yes, one sperm fertilizes the egg but the chances of any single sperm reaching the egg are millions to one. If you want to have a baby the simplest thing to do is to is to have sex as much as you like without worrying about when to have sex or whether you are ovulating or not. If he pulled out then you are are unlikely to get pregnant from that occasion but it sound very complicated to decide try for a baby one month and then not the next. Go for it. Have joyful, uninhibited, loving sex as often as you feel like it.

I mean your chances aren’t high as he did pull out. Of corse anything is possible but at the same time I wouldn’t get your hopes up for this month.

Pulling out is not birth control.
It only takes ONE sperm.
Sperm can live inside you for up to five days and wait for your egg.

So, just for the record, and for anyone who reads this~ the pull out method is NOT birth control, it is unprotected sex. And yeah, you are more than likely pregnant.

Pretty good. Sperm can survive for about 5 days after sex. An egg is viable for about 24 hours after ovulation. If those sperm come in contact with an egg you just ovulated in the next day, conception is likely. Conception is never guaranteed either.
