since the King James Bible is so relatively new , no claim of divine intervention, inspiration. How can it not be just another book of men  ?

    All books are "of men".

The King James Bible is a translation that allowed people during King James reign to read the word of God.

The original bible writings were in Aramaic and Hebrew and later Greek.

    Also in Latin

Because the materials they used originally came from God, for the most part.  You didn't think that through, pard.

It is just one of many translations of the original Bible, actually the poorest translation still in existence, with thousands of translational errors. The translators were simply not expert in the ancient languages, and it shows, on almost every page. Many of the errors are minor - verb tenses, singular vs. plural, etc. But some of them are ridiculous. For example, it is the only translation that mentions unicorns. They translated the Greek term for "horned beasts" as "unicorns" instead of the correct translation seen in every other translation - bulls, or cattle.

It is not "relatively new" being roughly 500 years old.

*All* books are books of men.  That includes every version of the Bible and all other allegedly holy books.

Anybody who says that 1611 "is relatively new" has a peculiar sense of time. From the late 1800s there have been hundreds of Bible translations, but even calling them "relatively new" is stretching it a bit. Christians know that only the autographs had the claim of divine inspiration. I bet you don't even know what those are. Well, none of them remain today, nor did they back in 1611. But hundreds of thousands of manuscripts of the Bible did, in the original languages of ancient Hebrew and common Greek (of the 1st century AD). They have come down to us and all reliable translations are based on them, as was the 1611 one. Nobody in their right mind ever claims translations are divinely inspired of God. The 1611 one had to have several editions where mistakes were corrected and even today some words are not as good as they could, or should be. Nevertheless, it's a far more reliable translation than the hundreds of others since the late 1800s.

Perhaps because of the thousands of Greek manuscripts which were used as the original source.

Same Bible, with the writings of the same men inspired by the Holy Spirit of the living God. It doesn't need or require a "claim".

Friend apparently you do not know the real history of the King James Bible it's a terrible history I'm going to tell you the story very briefly you can verify this on the internet and you can actually look at some pictures of king James's boyfriends King James was homosexual and had notable boyfriends.!

His mother used to yell at James and say James Jehovah doesn't like you in bed with boys.

James got sick of his mother so he had his mother locked in the tower where about a month later she mysteriously fell to her death.

James commanded that a new Bible translation would be written James removed the name Jehovah from the Bible 7,000 times and replaced it with the word Lord and God

Then James took the scriptures that referred to homosexuality rather blatantly. And softened up the language to men that lie down with men instead of the word homosexuals.

he actually removed the word homosexual from one of the scriptures in the New testament where it says homosexuals will not inherit God's Kingdom. And replaced it with an obscure word called buggery.

Well we figured out what buggery means!

Anyway how on God's green earth the homosexual Bible ended up being called The holy Bible and so many people swear by it!  It will never be known.

Perhaps it's that name Jehovah that people just can't stand because it reminds them of Jehovah's witnesses
