Why can the government not stay out of our day to day lives and just do what their supposed to.?

The Government NEEDS to get into our "day to day lives," particularly education.  Your rants are all the same - they're, there, their.

As with most issues it's because we can't all agree on what the government is supposed to do. If we did all agree on this we'd just routinely elect the kind of government that performs as we like. But we're a vast nation made up of everything from arch libertarian thinking to those who literally want a handout from the cradle to the grave...and all of them get to vote. 

There are plenty of failed countries to move to.

One of the things government is supposed to do is take out the trash.  I'm Hopeful that they get to you sooner or later.  OBTW, Dopefull, why do you stick periods in front of all your question marks?  

Because you refuse to stay out of other people's lives that don't want you sticking your nose in their business.

Who else is going to teach you spelling and grammar?
