Your options aren't easy, but they are very simple: Stay and graduate, or quit.
Just so you know, all the stories you've heard are true. Without a high school education, you're not getting into the 'good' jobs. As a high school dropout, your job opportunities are limited to stuff like retail, fast food, janitorial, assembly / factory work, telephone marketing, etc. Those are all perfectly respectable jobs, but they don't always pay very well.
That said, those other horror stories you've heard are also true. I've got two college certificates and a college degree, and I'm currently working as a janitor in a factory. Several of my co-workers hold college and university degrees, and they're assembling parts or loading paint lines for a living. While I work as a janitor by choice, for many educated people a factory job is still the best they can find. A degree, even a STEM degree, isn't a guarantee of employment.
Like I said, the choice isn't always easy. But it is very simple.

You're not quitting. Finish high school even if it's hard. After that, you can apply for a job.
