If anyone can be as successful and independent, why do we hear a handful of names from the last century or older always, like only those ones...and most importantly, only few...? And how can everyone be successful with their ideas when world's population is vast and their unique ideas are not so unique anymore?... really, what you have in mind, is probably already worked out for lots of people right? And yet, we say names of a few successful people all our lives, why? Isn't all this business and strategy these days?

It depends on what level of success you want to hear about. You just successfully asked a question that caused a person to answer it. I bet you also have had a successful B.M. in the past few days.
Elon Musk was successful at PAYPAL but no one remembers him for that...and it was a GREAT success.
