risk of flood, not being attached properly. a good dishwasher uses less water than washing in the sink...i don't know how the portable ones rate. with a regular dishwasher, it uses 4 gallons of water for the entire run, a sink uses 4 gallons in a couple minutes (I have to wait for the commercial to come on to verify)
