No one said it was okay then, and no one is saying it now. The purpose of Biden's infrastructure bill is not bad. Borrowing even MORE money from your kids or grandchildren is the issue. You know how your generation likes to rag on Boomers? Well the next few generations are going to blame Biden (and people like you who support him).
