what zodiac sign is jazz?

Give me the exact moment the FIRST jazz was performed in public, as well as the location (city), and I can do up a chart for Jazz.

That chart WILL include the SUN sign (what you are mistakenly calling the "zodiac sign" ... mistakenly because everyone has ALL 12 zodiac signs active in their personal birthchart) ... and I will tell you what the Sun sign is for the BIRTH of jazz.

Jazz is music, so Venus is one way to look at this and her signs are Taurus and Libra. Venus doesn't suit jazz though. 

One astrologer took a novel approach to this question.  He used the birthday of Adolphe Sax, the inventor of the saxophone as the chart for jazz.  Classical music does not use the saxophone, and the sax is associated with jazz more than any other kind of music.  Sax was born on Nov 6, 1814, in Dinant Belgium.  You can try to find a time.  Nov 6 is Scorpio, ruled by Mars, so it makes some sense. 

Can’t even bother going to Wikipedia at all? Why bother when astrology has all of anecdotes that thoroughly explains everything? How can a sign be assigned to a music genre? 

Music evolves. "Classical" music can use any instrument. Jazz is America's classic music. There is no one location and time for a useless chart.
