Gas is up $0.50 in my area since Biden was elected, does this surprise you?

First day in office he killed the Keystone oil pipeline from Canada, then went on to ban leasing of federal land for oil exploration. Seems to me this is a tax on people making less than $400K per-year.

Economic activity is up in my area.  Naturally gas prices rise with increasing economic activity.  No, supply & demand doesn't surprise me.

As someone said, Texas was knocked out by weird weather. This is exactly the kind of weird weather the scientists have been warning us about. Their governor first tried to blame it on wind turbines, prompting the Republican Lie Machine to say that they only work in warm places like Minnesota. That didn't work so he diverted attention with his loony mask idea.

Not at all.  But, gas is super cheap in the usa compared to what it really should be.  Look at what norway pays for gas.  They have invested that in their future.

Not at all.  Since all the Texas refineries were knocked off line for a spell during the 'free market' electrical grid fiasco, not to mention the first increase in fuel demand in a year as the economy gets a little steam in it.  So this is not hard to understand, and the only politics in this is the politics of greed for the ill conceived 'deregulation' of the Texas electrical grid

In 2019, the United States exported about 8.47 MMb/d of petroleum to about 190 countries and 4 U.S. territories. Crude oil exports of about 2.98 MMb/d accounted for 35% of total U.S. gross petroleum exports in 2019.

Ours is over $1.10. AntiPOTUS Biden's energy polices are simply bad for America.

That's a weird way to give Biden credit for the recovering economy.
