Is there such thing as crockpot you can program with your phone?

Question

I've seen some digital ones but nothing like programmable with your phone. I was thinking what if you were not able to get home in time and it was a little late to turn off your crockpot you could just use your phone and tell your phone to turn off the crockpot but I've never heard of that so I was just curious if anybody has made that.

While there are such things now, I would hesitate using them, as I do not like cooking when not at home, just in case something goes wrong. 
In the case of a minor emergency while using a crockpot, i will put it in the sink, plugged in, figuring that if it goes Boom, it scorches the sink rather than the counter top.

Some have timers for that reason but I've not heard of an internet connected one. However, I'm sure it exists.

Sure.  Just search “crockpots with Bluetooth” and find several.  Even Walmart carries them
