According to the NYT projections, 80% will be fully vaccinated around the end of August.
How long after that it takes to return to normal depends on how effective the vaccines are against covid variants, how stupidly people behave in the meantime, and how fast the rest of the world gets vaccinated.
If 80% are vaccinated and the vaccines are 70% effective at preventing transmission, then the virus will spread about half as fast as in unvaccinated populations.

We in the UK are showing what can be achieved.
I am so glad we are out of the EU. Due to their petty and pathetic buteaucracy the roll out of the vaccine in the EU has been appallingly poor. Only today the French Government are having to re-introduce strict lockdown measures beause COVID-19 cases are on the rise.
