Why is Plan 9 called Plan 9?

The invaders had numbered plans to use depending on the circumstances. They decided that humans would be frighten by the use of reanimated corpses. As listed in plan 9.

The movie was funded by a church. Ed Wood convinced them that if they invested in his sci-fi movie he could double their money. They demand he change the original title “Grave Robbers From Outer Space “ to something that didn’t glorify desecration.

The original title was Grave Robbers From Outer Space

by it was changed because the film's backers didn't like it.

The first 8 plans sucked, hence Plan 9. Of course, Plan 9 will go down in flames too, like a 9th string quarterback. I mean, if it were all that great, it'd have been Plan 1. So ready yourself for Plan 10.
