Are we the most fascinating species to ever evolve on earth?

There have been  more successful species in earth which have perfected a body plan and have witnessed little to no change across the eons. There have also been species with more widespread distribution than us [usually small animals]. Almost all human species have gone extinct but humans were the first animal to use fire!

After the quaternary extinction, we were the only humans left and from then we have advanced technologically exponentially. Now we're primates that use cars to move long distances, and we've gone to the moon!

If you were an extraterrestrial with a time machine and you knew earths history, wouldn't this be the most intriguing time to visit earth because of us?

If I exclude my favorite ex-girlfriend, I think that some of the mantis shrimp are fascinating.

"evolution is not real, because we dont see animals evolving now, crocodiles are the same as they were in the 1900s, same so bulls, dogs and cats, Jesus is King"

An example of another uneducated fool who thinks their personal ignorance is some form of evidence.

The evidence for evolution is colossal. The evidence for Jesus is non-existent.

All is relative. Cursed with an opposable thumb and a prehensile hand humans are not the most facinating. Bottled-nosed Dolphins and their 1st cousin Orca live within their means and have sensory and communicative skills unmatched in the natural world.

We certainly are an interesting group.

I tend to be fascinated by cetaceans and cephalopods.

The cetaceans are said to have been the most intelligent until we came along, and the octopus is the closest organism to what we might call alien.

"Fascinating" is a subjective term. It means different things to different people. Therefore, this is not a scientific question. It is a matter of opinion.

I note that you're picking and choosing individual facts and holding those up as examples of how special we are. The same could be done of literally every species that has ever lived on earth.
