Yes, it isn't uncommon, for people to trip or stumble.  It happens everyday. 

I fall up rather than down stairs.

Common for people our age.

Gerald Ford tripped and fell down the stairs getting off Air Force One.  They even did skits on SNL because of it.

Trump has a problem going down ramps- I guess that's to be expected since he's overweight and has bone spurs.

I'll admit I've tripped up and down stairs before and I'm only two years younger than AOC. I recall the former president nearly tumbled over at CPAC 2019 and then there was the ramp where he called three steps at the bottom a 'jog'.
