What is an example of food that sounds gross but’s actually really good?

I think the concept of honey could sound gross (coming from an insect, in an insect hive), but is good. I'm really sorry if I just ruined honey for people.

I think yogurt is another one that could be described in a way that sounds gross because of the bacteria. Or cheese as a mold. But these are delicious.

I think the fact the many people put cheddar cheese slices on apple pie sounds gross but I tried it and it's pretty good. 

I thought pea salad would be not so good since I'm not a fan of cooked peas, but I really love it.
